A day as a bulk driver at
Van den Bosch

As The Supply Changer in Bulk, Van den Bosch is always on the move. Our drivers are an essential link in the entire transport process and are the heart of our organisation. Have you always wondered about the work of a bulk driver at Van den Bosch? We present to you our latest video: A day as a bulk driver at Van den Bosch.

Safety first

Driving around with 30 tonnes of liquid cargo is slightly different from driving a truck full of pallets. Unloading bulk products under high pressure is a lot more specialised than working with a pallet jack. So, in addition to training and education, safety is also high on the agenda. Training, clothing and personal protective equipment: everything is aimed at guaranteeing quality and safety.

Flying start

All our drivers and on-site coordinators are trained in-house at the Van den Bosch Academy – a modern training facility where we prep you to become a Supply Changer in Bulk. This is where you take your first steps – or, of course, if you’re switching from regular truck transport to something more specialised. Whether it’s liquid or dry bulk, food, feed or chemicals, you’ll learn all the tricks of the trade at the Academy.

Find a balance

Because our planners work with smart systems, we always keep right on top of scheduling. So much so that we can even promise that unusual working hours are a thing of the past and that you will always know exactly where you stand.

Modern equipment

If you want to play at the big leagues, even the smallest detail can make a big difference. And whether you contribute to the team as a driver or an on-site coordinator, you can be sure you’ll be working with the most innovative equipment and that your work is well supported.

Why Van den Bosch?

  • Working with the most modern equipment
  • Time and space for training and development
  • As an on-site coordinator you’ll become a familiar face at loading and unloading locations
  • Challenging, varied and specialist work
  • Choose fixed work hours (on-site) or variety and freedom (as a driver)
